We would like to give an enormous thankyou to all of our sponsors and supporters. Without you, we would not exist.

Jane Street Community Garden operates as a part of Micah Projects. They have been, and continue to be, a fundamental part of Jane Street. They have allowed the garden to grow from a simple, guerrilla garden into a BCC approved facility; allowing for grant applications, insurances and overall continuation.

Micah Projects is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing services and opportunities in the community to create justice and respond to injustice.

Goodwill Projects has generously provided continual, financial support to Jane Street for years.

Beginning as pioneers of Brisbane farmers markets in 2006, today they coordinate 12 highly popular markets across South East Queensland. With the Davies Park, West End Markets being held every Saturday.

Arethusa College has generously sponsored one of our newly installed raised garden beds.

Arethusa College is an independent school, catering for Years 7 to 12, that has been established to meet the needs of students who for numerous reasons, are not fitting into the mainstream education system.

We would like to thank Bunnings, Newstead for their assistance and support with our new composting hub.

During the design process, we reached out to Bunnings, seeing if they were able to help with the project in any way. It was amazing to see how invested they were in supporting community projects like ours and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

Jane Street Community Garden has a land permit generously appointed by Brisbane City Council. The West End Composting Hub is also a BCC approved facility.

They have recently renewed our permit until June 2026; which is amazing news!

The Green Grocer has been a long-standing ally and supporter of Jane Street Community Garden.

This local health food store has been servicing West End for 23 years, stocking a wide range of organic, health and sustainable products.

Currently, they are generous enough to have a plant stand out the front of their store, selling seedlings, cuttings and compost produced at the garden.

Here We Grow has generously sponsored one of our newly installed raised garden beds.

Here We Grow is a local collaborative design company with a focus on reinvesting in the natural environment that inspires them.

GROOVY GREENS

Groovy Greens is a local microgreens business. Brett holds a stall at the West End Markets every Saturday and is passionate about providing fresh, nutritious food.

Microgreens are grown in coco coir. Once the sprouts are harvested, this coco coir cannot be reused. However, we are able to use it at the garden. We add it to our seed-raising mix.

It is a beautiful example of working together to reduce unnecessary waste.

ARIA Property Group were extremely generous in donating a considerable amount of money towards the garden to help in it’s revitalisation and restoration.

This donation has been the cornerstone of all work that has taken place in the garden over the past years, from raised garden beds, irrigation, a new greenhouse and, most recently, the new composting hub. We greatly appreciate their support.

FITTA Group generously donated their new, composite sleepers to our composting hub project.

FITTA Group are a newly established company, focusing on revolutionary, eco-friendly alternatives to retaining wall and landscaping products.

Origin Fencing was influential in the construction of our newly completed composting hub. Their expertise in steel fabrication and generosity in time and costs made the project possible.
